Press Release: Michael Hoffman Article Published in New Jersey Law Journal
(Princeton, NJ) February 5, 2009 - Jackson resident Michael Hoffman, Esquire, an attorney with Princeton’s Maselli Warren law firm, recently authored an important article affecting business practices which was published in the New Jersey Law Journal. Entitled “Restrictive Covenants for the Contemporary Employer”, the article focuses on methods employed by businesses in protecting trade secrets and other valuable assets. Mr. Hoffman’s article underlines that fact that, in today’s technologically advanced business world, restrictive covenants must be personally drafted for each unique enterprise for the mutual protection of employer and employee alike. A restrictive covenant is a signed agreement whereby an employee cannot compete with a former employer in certain defined ways. Read Full News Release

 

The Firm Announces a New Shareholder

The Firm Expands into a New Penthouse Suite
The Firm Expands into a New Penthouse Suite at their 600 Alexander Road Headquarters. After a decade on the first floor of the 600 Alexander Road office building, on September 1, 2008 Maselli Warren, PC moved into it's new third floor headquarters. The new office space includes larger and improved client reception and conference room facilities, as well as additional offices for attorneys and paraprofessionals. In connection with the move, the firm also added a state-of-the-art telecommunications and networking system. Clients, new and old, are invited to visit the firm in it's new location.

Maselli Warren opened the doors of its new office in Newtown, Pennsylvania to the public. While our headquarters remains in Princeton, New Jersey, we hope that the new office will allow us to better serve clients in Pennsylvania. Come visit us and get to know our Newtown, PA staff!

 

Run Warren Run!
Perry Warren crossed the finish line of the Marine Corps Marathon in Washington, D.C., only two weeks after having completed another marathon in Maryland. Having completed 25 marathons, Perry now hopes to learn to swim, so he can complete a triathlon! At the New Jersey Marathon in Long Branch on May 4, 2008, among some 2,500 registered Marathoners, Perry wore Bib Number 1 (though his finish was far, far from first). Perry completed his quest to complete 10 marathons in 2008.

 

Warren for St. Luke's
Perry Warren was elected Senior Warden and Chairman of the Vestry of St. Luke's Episcopal Church, Newtown for the 2008-2009 Church Year. Perry, a lifelong member of the Church, is serving his third term on the Vestry and previously served in the position of Junior Warden. Perry also is Delegate to the Diocese of Pennsylvania Annual Convention and the Bucks County Deanery.

 

Perry Warren attended Managing Partner Development Institute
Perry Warren recently attended The Managing Partner Development Institute for a conference and workshop at The Normandy Farm Hotel and Conference Center in Blue Bell, PA. Perry was joined by the managing partners of other prestigious law firms and participated in workshops on developing leadership style, leveraging technology, nurturing internal and external relationships and mastering financial management.

 

A Vow To Help
Patricia Agoes  was named to the "Post-Judgment Matrimonial Early Settlement Panel" by the Honorable Laura M. LeWinn, Presiding Judge, Superior Court of New Jersey, Mercer County, Family Part. Ms. Agoes is one of only 12 attorneys serving on this panel. The panel’s role is to assist in the mediation and resolution of disputes arising between divorced couples after the divorce decree has been entered. Ms. Agoes concentrates her practice in representing clients in divorce cases and other family law and matrimonial matters and is a matrimonial mediator.

 

Case Settled for Client who was Injured While On The Job
Michael Hoffman, the firm’s lead trial attorney, recently settled a case for $500,000 for injuries sustained by a construction worker at the job site. Our client’s employer paid the employee’s lost wages and medical expenses. Then, a third party who failed to properly place temporary sidewalks on the work site paid for recovery of the extensive damage to our client’s knee. Mr. Hoffman litigates cases for individuals who have suffered injuries both on the job and off the job.

 

Council Rock Baseball Booster Club Sponsorship
Maselli Warren, P.C. was a hole sponsor at a recent golf outing hosted by the Council Rock Baseball Booster Club to raise money for the team, and for a baseball scholarship. The golf outing was held on April 27th at Makefield Highlands Golf Course. The Boosters Club was able to raise $40,000 from the outing, silent auction and sponsorships. Brian Mills, a lawyer at Maselli Warren, is on the board of the Council Rock Boosters Club.
